Editor's Note
Most people still use ChatGPT as a Google replacement or typing assistant, but what if I told you it can research, build, design, teach, and do work for you like a full-stack team member?
I’m about to walk you through some of the built-in tools inside ChatGPT that 99% of people don’t even know exist … and show you what they can do.

TOOL BREAKDOWN + EXAMPLES

1. Agent Mode (NEW hotness)
Let AI actually do the task for you — autonomously and across tools.
Use Case:
“Book me 3 local podcast studios under $100/hr that are open Tuesday at noon and email me the list.”
(Yes, it will open tabs, search, compare, and return with a result.)
Quick note: Agent Mode isn’t just pulling data … it’s actually navigating the web like you would. Opening tabs, clicking buttons, filling forms, scrolling, reading… all while waiting on pages, pop-ups, and scripts to load. Basically, a super-fast assistant that still has to deal with slow websites. So when using it, have some patience.
2. Deep Research
Upload a PDF, doc, or paste a long link … it’ll read, summarize, and extract insight from 100+ pages.
Use Case:
“Summarize this 40-page lease and pull out any red flags.”
“What’s the tone of this marketing deck?”
3. Create Image
Like MidJourney, but built into ChatGPT uses DALL·E. Just describe what you want and let it do the work. Bonus: graphics and output has improved massively. Just be sure you’re using good prompts.
Use Case:
“Give me a hero image of a mid-century modern home with a vintage Porsche pulling out of the garage in Dallas sunlight. Wes Anderson-style cuts.”
4. Study and Learn
Personalized tutor mode … choose a subject, learning style, and pace.
Use Case:
“Teach me the basics of real estate multi-family investing in Texas with weekly action items.”
“Help me understand SEO for Shopify over 5 lessons.”
5. Web Search
Pulls real-time information from the internet (not just trained data).
Use Case:
“What are the newest 2025 Google Ads features for real estate agents?”
6. Canvas
Visual document space, kinda like Notion meets Figma powered by AI.
Use Case:
Brainstorming a new product, launching a team project, or designing a full marketing campaign with structure and visuals.
“Build me a visual roadmap for launching an injector training program.”
Watch as it builds a structured canvas with to-do lists, sections, goals, visuals, and more.
Most people are sleeping on these tools. This isn’t just a chat assistant … this is a full suite of AI power tools.
You don’t need to be an expert; you need to click that ‘Tools’ button and start using the ones that do the heavy lifting for you.
Start with one. Try it. Master it. Stack them.
The future of work isn’t coming. It’s already in the tools menu.
